Caliope’s Fibre

Hello! My name is Shawna and I am the person behind Caliope’s Fibres. I live on the west coast of BC, Canada.

I taught myself how to crochet when I was 20. A few years later I tried knitting. Eventually I started spinning and got my first loom. This was quickly followed by my own drum carder and a few more looms and a couple little e-spinners.

I have been selling my hand carded batts and hand made knitting notions at local shows for over decade. I love being part of the fibre community and getting to share this amazing hobby.
